The cleanliness of the kitchen and cellar will number amongst your main duties. You will assist with light preparation work in the kitchen as well as serving cuisine.
Requirements:
- Experience in restaurant kitchens an advantage but not a must
- Physical and emotional stability
- Calm-natured and patient
- Team player and ability to handle conflict
- Initiative and dedication
- Physical resilience
- Ability to communicate well in German
Role:
- Working in the scullery and cold kitchen
- Washing of dishes, cutlery, and glassware, as well as kitchen equipment including pans
- General cleaning duties in the kitchen and storage area
- Washing of vegetables and salad
Duties:
- Correct operation of the dishwasher
- Drying and correct storage
- Keeping the scullery clean including correct cleaning of the dishwasher
- Friendly cooperation with all colleagues
- Disposing of waste from the scullery in the waste containers provided including correct separation of waste
- Cost-conscious use of all consumables, particularly cleaning products
- Supporting service staff in sorting recycling
- Informing the responsible colleagues in the event of defects
- Ensuring cleanliness in the kitchen area, particularly the floor
- Rotational cleaning work according to the hygiene plan
- Maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen, cold storage, stockrooms, corridors, and trade entrance
