Winter adventures
The entire Kleinwalsertal valley turns into a true winter wonderland in the cold season. Most of the time, the landscape is covered in deep snow and drenched in sun – perfect for when you want to indulge in your favourite winter sport or dare to try something new.
Ski holidays at Hotel Gemma
Do you want to ski in Austria or Germany? You don’t have to decide with us – because the Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal ski area combines the best of both countries. Here you will find 130 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes, deep snow for skiing in powder, and 48 cable cars and lifts to have fun in the snow. The Parsenn slope runs directly past Hotel Gemma; here, you can easily enter the ski area – and the large Kanzelwand cable car is also just a few steps away from the hotel. For added convenience, you can store your skis in our ski cellar, which is available for you to use at any time.
