As a hotelier of one of the leading hotels in Kleinwalsertal, Klaus was active in several committees and interest groups. As your host, he attaches particular importance to staying up-to-date with the latest developments and thus providing you with a holiday experience to match. He has already demonstrated his pioneering spirit in the past, for example, with the decision to create the first and currently only adults-only hotel in Kleinwalsertal. And this concept has proven to be very successful. You will surely bump into Klaus time and again at Hotel Gemma – which is named after his mother – as he can often be found around the hotel keeping a close eye on quality.
Rita is not only a host through and through, but as our head chef, she is also devoted to your physical well-being. She is passionate about Alpine cuisine at Hotel Gemma, which she herself has played a major role in shaping. Thanks to the numerous courses and seminars she has attended over the years as a host, Rita has striven for and implemented an ever-higher level of quality at Hotel Gemma. Fun fact: After attending the workshop “Processing the Whole Animal”, Rita has also set new and sustainable standards in our kitchen.
Sabrina is host Klaus’s niece and has been the smiling face at the reception of our family business since 2019. Speaking of family, Sabrina is currently only occasionally working at Hotel Gemma – the rest of her time is devoted to her little family.
Hotel Gemma is fortunate to welcome Marc as its head chef. With his many years of experience and passion for cooking, he brings a unique culinary expertise to the hotel. Marc's dedication to the individual products and his love for the origin of the food are reflected in every dish on the plate.
After completing his training as a chef, Marc decided to further refine his skills in the Tannheimertal. There he had the opportunity to perfect his cooking skills and get to know the magic of award-winning cuisine. This experience has shaped him and taken his skills as a chef to a new level.
After about seven years, Marc moved back to his home country, and he immediately took up his position as head chef at our hotel. There, he spoils our guests with his creative cuisine and ensures that every palate has an unforgettable culinary experience.
With Marc as our chef, our guests can look forward to outstanding dishes that focus on quality, taste and presentation. His passion for cooking and his pursuit of perfection make him a valuable asset to our hotel and our guests.
Christian's impressive CV and many years of experience in various prestigious hotels make him a valuable addition to the kitchen team at Hotel Gemma. His passion for the different products and experiences of each station in the kitchen will certainly contribute to the hotel's guests being able to enjoy unforgettable food and various creations. In addition, he brings his knowledge and experience in award-winning cuisine, which will lead to culinary highlights.
Starting in June, Christian will contribute his skills and skills as a sous chef at Hotel Gemma. Together with Chef Marc, he will work to provide guests with an outstanding culinary experience. The combination of Marc's expertise and Christian's passion for patisserie and award-winning cuisine promises a diverse and sophisticated cuisine at Hotel Gemma.
Lukas is marginally busy 1/2 day a week.
Verena is our restaurant manager. She is a very experienced professional with various additional trainings and is responsible for her physical well-being as Chef de Rang.
As Commis de Rang, Emese and her colleagues devote themselves to the perfect holiday dream.
Beáta is our newest member of the Gemma team. She is responsible for cleanliness in housekeeping and is also the contact person for our guests on the floor
